Jens Ammon

Jens joined Sageland Collaborative in 2023. He received a Master of Ecological Restoration and a B.S. in Aquatic Ecosystem Management from Utah State University, and a B.S. in Geology from the University of Utah. Over the last few years, Jens has specialized in Low-Tech Process-Based Restoration of streams both academically and professionally. With Sageland Collaborative, Jens designs, manages, and implements restoration projects throughout Utah as part of the Riparian Restoration Program. He loves applying science to real-world improvements for the environment.
When not building beaver dams, Jens enjoys looking for bugs, playing video games, and camping with his border collie.
